Maidenhead, June 22nd, 2011 – Boldon James and Nexor announce a strategic partnership that combines the powerful solutions of two of the UK’s leading providers of secure information exchange solutions for the military and government markets. The result will be a set of proven pre-integrated solutions which will be easier and quicker to deploy reducing risk and the total cost of ownership.
Boldon James provides solutions to extend the capabilities of Microsoft core infrastructure products to allow secure information exchange. In particular, Boldon James’ information classification and secure messaging client software are market leaders. Nexor focuses on guard and gateway technology in the high and medium assurance space enabling connection, transformation and protection of sensitive information. Nexor’s solutions are the first choice for several high profile government agencies.
The first step in the collaboration will be for Nexor to adopt Boldon James’ Classifier components to protectively mark internal information and to market Classifier in conjunction with Nexor’s Watchman for UAG, a medium assurance guard that plugs into Microsoft Forefront’s Unified Access Gateway. Watchman for UAG will also be available through Boldon James.
A combined Military Messaging (MMHS) offering is currently being worked on with Boldon James’ SAFEMail® client and Nexor’s various server products including Nexor Vanguard, a tactical gateway for STANAG 4406 Annex E low bandwidth data handling. Further details will be announced shortly.
Martin Sugden, CEO for Boldon James comments: “We are delighted to work with Nexor in producing a suite of pre-integrated tried and tested solutions. Our customers, the large system integrators and the end user communities they supply, will find them easier to deploy and upgrade, producing faster trouble-free implementation and a lower total cost of ownership”.
Steve Kingan, CEO at Nexor adds: “In today’s highly competitive, budget-constrained environment, it makes absolute sense for two leading companies to combine their agility and extant capability to create compelling solutions, ready to roll out, for the benefit of the taxpayer.”
