Pre Sales Consultant – EMEA Region

To provide technical pre sales in region for end customers and channel partners through meetings and webinars, overseeing the technical part of the sales cycle and proof of concept activity.
Reporting to the Vice President EMEA, the role of the UK Pre Sales Consultant will be to engage with and the support of the sales team and that of our channel partners in customer engagements. The candidate’s experience will enable them to carry out Pre Sales support throughout the sales cycle including development and implementation of technical sales strategies, delivery of technical presentations, product demonstrations, and support for customer proof of concept evaluations. To attend and host meetings, sometimes as the sole Boldon James representative and to be mindful of both commercial and technical discussions and outcomes. A working knowledge of technology partners’ offerings is also desirable, which would include Data Loss Prevention, Information Rights Management, and Information Discovery.
Required profile, skills and experience:
- In depth knowledge of the software security market and technologies.
- Good presentation and communication skills.
- Strong experience of working closely and effectively with reseller companies and complimentary vendors.
- Time in an IT operations roles working at the coalface
- Confidence in passing UK security vetting
- Valid driving licence holder
