Defence Gateways
Boldon James have developed a range of software gateways built on the Microsoft Exchange platform that meet a range of network enabled capability (NEC) requirements. From achieving messaging interoperability between deployed coalition forces through to supporting information exchanges in radio silence or in constrained bandwidth environments Boldon James has a messaging gateway solution available.
Summary Information on the range of gateway solution we develop is below with links to more detailed feature, benefit and technical data.
ACP145 Gateway - ACP145 Gateway secures the exchange information via email between different Military Message Handling Systems. The Boldon James ACP145 gateway, complementing Microsoft Exchange, not only provides for the correct translation of messages between different military messaging systems i.e. addressing ACP123 Military Messaging interoperability inconsistencies, but also the secure exchange of those messages. For example, converting ACP120 to PCT content.
Stanag Bridgehead Connector - Stanag X.400 Bridgehead Server on Microsoft Exchange. Extends the capabilities of the Microsoft Exchange Server’s X.400 Connector such that it can now function as a true X.400 MTA carrying full military messaging content within a STANAG configuration.
Stanag 4406 Annex E Gateway - A tactical gateway supporting the exchange of messages in environments where low bandwidth, radio silence or both are required.
SAFEmail Accelerator Low Bandwidth Gateway - SAFEmail Accelerator provides the optimal solution for minimizing the network overheads and costs associated with large email attachments. The typical result is an 80% plus reduction in bandwidth utilisation without any change to the user interface or security infrastructure.
SAFEagent - A Microsoft Exchange based agent that can be used as the basis for implementing a wide variety of automated applications including profiling, faxing and archival with a defence or formal messaging environment.
