JB Management selects Boldon James to provide enhanced policy based messaging capability to US Navy
JBM’s Formatted Messaging application extended to incorporate message labelling for use by up to 30,000 users across 300 US naval vessels.
Maidenhead, Berkshire, U.K. – 30th July 2008 – Boldon James, a leading provider of secure information exchange solutions and a wholly owned QinetiQ subsidiary, today announces a contract to develop Microsoft based message labelling functionality for integration with JB Management’s (JBM) Common Message Processor© (CMP) application suite.
JBM, the recognised provider of formatted message (MTF) editor processing for the United States Department of Defense community, is partnering with Boldon James to provide the US Navy with enhanced military messaging capabilities by providing messages in a ’Defense Message Dissemination System (DMDS) Interchange Format.’ Based on ACP126 (modified) this enhanced format will include additional elements of service, X.500 DN recipient syntax, and a raft of DMDS-unique attributes. Message drafters will thereafter be able to select security labels from approved Security Policy Information Files (SPIF).
