SAFEmail - A modular suite of Microsoft Outlook and Exchange components providing a comprehensive defence messaging solution.

SAFEmail supports conformance to the latest versions of formal “High Grade” military messaging standards including STANAG 4406, ACP120, ACP123 and S/MIME-ESS. Uniquely SAFEmail also offers a fully interoperable, simplified interface for Medium and Basic Grade Messaging.

Many defence organisations are now adopting the recommendations of Stanag 4406, which defines a range of capabilities for Defence Messaging Solutions. This graduated range of functionality offers the most cost effective means of meeting user requirements whilst delivering the required capabilities.

Deploying the full range of SAFEmail modules means that conformance to the latest versions of MMHS standards are fully met. Reducing the build content delivers a more cost effective, but fully compatible Medium or Basic grade capability. SAFEmail uses a dynamic load capability allowing a single desktop installation configured by logon profile.

SAFEmail is delivered with full Microsoft standard internationalisation capability and has already been translated into French, German, Greek, Arabic and Turkish language versions. There are over 1 million licenced SAFEmail components deployed worldwide.

Key Benefits

  • COTS platform and deployed user base means reliability and cost effectiveness.
  • Full standards conformance on client and server reduces costs of compliance.
  • Single common build and dynamic load dramatically reduces systems management costs.
  • Single common user interface reduces training costs and improves operational flexibility.
