Boldon James delivers ACP145 Gateway to a large European country Ministry of Defence
Defence messaging interoperability between nations goes live
Maidenhead, Berkshire, U.K. – 30th July 2007 – Boldon James, a leading provider of Secure Formal Messaging solutions, today announced completion of its deliveries of ACP145 Gateway Software to a large country MoD (undisclosed) in support of its international interoperability requirements.
In late 2005, the MoD specified requirements for an ACP145 Gateway to interoperate with an international Defence Messaging system. The Gateway maps country specific security labels and policies to this MoD’s policies and vice versa, supporting High Grade and Medium Grade messaging users. Factors incorporated into the architecture include the integration of legacy systems, directory design and implementation, PKI deployments and security policy decisions. This is the first global deployment of this C.C.E.B. specified standard.
This Gateway solution comprises security and validation modules plus an Exchange 2003 based ACP145 Gateway developed by Boldon James.
This customer’s reference status will be announced shortly.
