AMHS Outlook Web Access - A zero footprint client solution based upon Microsoft’s Outlook Web Access
Our Aviation Message Handling System (AMHS) client is engineered to work with Microsoft’s Outlook Web Access (OWA). It provides facilities for submitting and retrieving Flight Plans, NOTAMs and ATS Free Format Text messages via the Microsoft Internet Explorer browser.
Message generation is based on custom templates, all of which comply with the required ICAO format (Doc 444 plus Annex 15). Users prepare new messages by selecting a template such as a flight plan and completing the appropriate message fields. Many fields can be completed with values selected from pick lists such as flight rules and the type of flight, mandatory fields are clearly shown. Validation is performed, if there are any errors, the user is informed as the system will only transmit messages with the correct syntax.
